Oracle MAA provides best practice recommendations for the design, implementation, and operation of high availability architectures for the Oracle Database residing On-Premise, in the Oracle Public Cloud, or a hybrid of both On-Premise and Oracle Public Cloud. The "Database only" architecture is not highly available, but it contains many availability features and assets that are used by all other architectures.
